The 9th UNESCO International Conference on Entrepreneurship Education was held in Hangzhou from October 26 to 27. The theme of this conference was "International Experience and Future Strategy of Innovation-Driven Development and Entrepreneurship Talent Training". Representatives from UNESCO, International Labour Organization, Association of Southeast Asian Nations and other international organizations, as well as famous scholars and experts in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship education from more than 30 countries, including China, the United States, Britain, Canada, Italy, Sweden, Croatia, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines, discussed topics such as innovation and entrepreneurship education strategies and policies, international exchanges and cooperation in innovation and entrepreneurship education, construction of entrepreneurship support system for college students, capacity building of entrepreneurship education institutions, innovation and curriculum reform in innovation and entrepreneurship education.
On the afternoon of October 26, the sub-forum of "Innovation-Driven Development and the Future of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education" was held in CUZ. The program includes the cooperation signing ceremony between UNESCO-China Entrepreneurship Education Alliance and Korea-China Education Exchange Association, the cooperation signing ceremony between CUZ and Xijing University, the unveiling ceremony of "Entrepreneurship and Innovation Platform for Taiwan Youth in Zhejiang Universities", the academic forum themed "International Progress and Chinese Experience in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Education" and the meeting of the Steering Committee for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Education in Zhejiang Universities. Leaders and experts from CUZ's sister universities, as well as the heads of relevant units and representatives of teachers and students of CUZ, attended the signing ceremony.

On the Forum, President of CUZ, Xu Xiaozhou delivered a keynote report entitled "Model Transformation: Challenges and Approaches for the High-quality Development of Global Entrepreneurship Education in the New Era". He started with the theoretical thinking and practical mode of entrepreneurship education, and elaborated the characteristics of high-quality entrepreneurship education. Secondly, the sustainable development of entrepreneurship education is faced with three contradictions: the social demand to improve innovation ability, the demand of students to cultivate core entrepreneurial ability, and the demand for creating a systematic and open educational environment. Finally, Professor Xu elaborated the way of high-quality development of entrepreneurship education, that is, anchored the five goals of entrepreneurship education, creating an ecosystem and broadening the education model of integrated development.
This conference has played a positive role in promoting the high-quality development of innovation and entrepreneurship education and strengthening the international exchanges and cooperation of innovation and entrepreneurship education.
