In order to further strengthen the management of foreign teachers, enrich the cultural life of foreign teachers and deepen their understanding of China's national conditions and traditional Chinese culture, the International Office of CUZ has recently organized foreign teachers to carry out historical and cultural experience investigation activities in Dongyang.
The delegation inspected Lu Zhai, a national key cultural relics protection unit. By visiting ancient buildings, wood carvings, portraits and traditional artifacts, foreign teachers can feel the exquisite carving of Chinese traditional residential buildings and the centennial inheritance of the Lu family and of the Chinese nation. Vasken, an art teacher from Belgium, said that combining the beauty of Chinese ancient architecture with modern art would create a better teaching effect.
The delegation also visited the Chinese wood carving Museum. Foreign teachers experience China's "craftsman spirit" through exquisite crafts, real scenes, photo presentation and other forms. Roxana, a foreign teacher from Romania, has worked and lived in China for six years. After participating in the investigation, she said: "what makes me marvel at China is not only the wisdom and perseverance of the ancients, but also the profound cultural heritage that continues to this day, making China one of the safest and most stable countries in the world."
Combining with the school's radio and television media professional characteristics, CUZ organised culture investigation activities for foreign teachers focusing on the Hengdian movie studios, the latest technology and the scene. There the foreign teachers felt the different ages of the Chinese architecture and magnificent artistic expression, and further understood the history of Chinese culture and traditional customs.
