Course Assessment
It is a must for Exchange Students to sit for examinations and tests prescibed in the Programme. The examinations and tests are divided into two types: the test for grading and the test for results. There will be other types of small tests. The test for grading, arranged prior to a course, is a level test to assess a student’s Chinese level on entry for an appropriate course placement. The test for results is arranged at the end of teaching to evaluate the result of teaching. Students will be given a total score from the test for the course they have taken. Test results will comprise 70% - 80% of the total score; and other graded work (incl. daily classwork, homework and tests) will comprise about 20% - 30% of the total score.
