On March 17, Dr. Kathaleen Reid-Martinez, Provost and Chief Academic Officer of Oral Roberts University (ORU), USA visited Communication University of Zhejiang (CUZ) .President Wei Lu met with the delegation. Representatives from Office of International Exchange and Cooperation (Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs) and School of Broadcasting and Hosting Arts attended the meeting.

Wei Lu extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced CUZ’s development history, academic programs, research achievements, and global partnerships. He expressed anticipation for strengthened bilateral relations, diversified cooperation models and improved collaboration mechanism to boost academic mobility.
Kathaleen Reid-Martinez expressed appreciation for the hospitality, and introduced ORU’s educational mission, academic programs distinctive disciplines and talent cultivation initiatives. She underscored promising cooperation prospects and hopes for future joint projects including faculty-student exchange and research partnerships between the two institutions.
During the meeting, both parties discussed potential areas of cooperation such as summer schools, joint research projects, faculty-student exchange and cultural events. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed to formalize the partnership.

Prior to the meeting, the delegation visited 4K E-sports Comprehensive Laboratory and the University History Museum.

Established in 1963 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Oral Roberts University is a comprehensive liberal arts institution comprising six colleges, including College of Arts & Cultural Studies, College of Education and College of Science & Engineering.
