Early in March, Lin Keguang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sabah National Chinese School and Chairman of Kota Kinabalu High School of Malaysia, and his entourage visited CUZ. CUZ Vice President Yao Zheng met with the guests, and the Head of the International Office, the Department of Discipline Construction and Postgraduate Management, the School of International Culture and Communication and Education, the School of Liberal Arts and the College of Liberal Arts were present at the meeting.
Yao Zheng expressed his warm welcome to the visit of Chairman Lin Keguang and his delegation. He briefly introduced the school-running characteristics of CUZ and the cooperation with Malaysian institutions, and focused on the enrollment and cultivation of Malaysian students in our university, hoping to strengthen the cooperation with the Board of Trustees of the National Type Chinese School in Sabah, Malaysia, and welcoming more Malaysian students to come to study and exchange in CUZ.
Lin Keguang expressed that many Malaysian students are willing to come to China to study, and he is very grateful for the information of studying abroad provided by CUZ, he will bring this information back to Malaysia for promotion and publicity, and hopes that more Malaysian Chinese descendants can come to study in CUZ.
During the meeting, the person in charge elaborated on the school's vision of expanding exchanges and cooperation with Malaysia, including the joint establishment of the Malaysian Research Centre, the joint establishment of the Silk Road Institute, the establishment of a postgraduate internship and practice base in Malaysia, the co-development of Chinese textbooks, the organisation and conduct of winter and summer camps, and so on.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the China Radio and Television Art Materials Research Centre.
