From 26th to 28th February, 26 teachers and students from Sunchon National University South Korea, led by Bang Ji-chul, the Dean of College of Humanities and Arts of Sunchon National University, Cho Laizheol, the Head of Fusion Talent Development Mission, and Chung Dongsu, the Deputy Head of Fusion Talent Development Mission, visited CUZ and took part in the winter camp activities co-hosted by the two universities. CUZ Vice President Yao Zheng attended the opening ceremony and met with the delegation, and relevant leaders and teachers from International Office and College of Arts and Literature attended the activities.
Yao Zheng welcomed the delegation and briefly introduced the development history of cooperation between the two universities. He said that this winter camp is a very meaningful activity, and the teachers and students of the visiting delegation will feel the inheritance and embodiment of traditional Chinese culture and economic and social development in reality. He hoped that this activity would be a complete success and the cooperation between the two schools would be deeper and wider to jointly cultivate integrated talents in the new era.
The Head of the College of Arts and Literature and the Head of the College of Humanities and Arts and the Fusion Talent Nurturing Business Group of the Sunchon National University of Korea signed the project cooperation agreement, and the three parties will carry out exchanges and cooperation in teaching, scientific research and other aspects.
The two colleges also exchanged views on their respective schooling characteristics, faculty strength and equipment configuration, and focused on the characteristics and achievements of talent cultivation, looking forward to more in-depth and extensive cooperation in the future.
After the ceremony, the delegation of South Korea’s Sunchon National University visited CUZ China Radio and Television Art Materials Research Centre, 4K e-sports comprehensive laboratory and Tongxiang Campus.
This winter camp is a three-day activity, and the delegation will visit cultural venues in Hangzhou, Shaoxing, Wuzhen and Shangyu, as well as internship and practice bases of the university, and carry out exchanges with teachers and students of the university.
