On November 29th, George Philippe St. Andrews, Chancellor of the University of Bolton in the UK, and his delegation visited CUZ.The Secretary of the Party Committee of the school, Yang Liping, and the President, Xu Xiaozhou, respectively met with the delegation. The heads of the International Office and the School of Broadcasting and Hosting Arts attended the meeting.

Yang Liping warmly welcomed the return visit of Chancellor Andrews and his delegation. She reviewed the history of exchange and cooperation between the two schools, as well as the first graduation ceremony of the Sino foreign cooperative education program between CUZ and Bolton University starting from 2019, and introduced the development process of the program over the years. Although it has gone through the pandemic, the project has not been affected, and the number of applicants has repeatedly reached new highs. The curriculum system is more refined and scientific, providing more high-level practical talents for the news and media industry. Yang Liping highly praised the support of Bolton University for this project and looks forward to establishing closer and more profound exchanges and cooperation between the two schools in the future, focusing on cultural exchange, academic cooperation, and other aspects.

Xu Xiazhou pointed out that the success of this project reflects the strong alliance and complementary advantages between CUZ and Bolton University. Both sides have set the goal of high-quality cooperative education, focusing on key aspects such as student selection, teachers, curriculum, and teaching reform, and have cultivated a group of high-quality talents. Looking forward to further strengthening communication and expanding cooperation areas in the future.

Chancellor Andrews thanked CUZ for its reception and highly appreciated the school's educational environment, research equipment, and educational achievements. He stated that the cooperation model based on education can deepen and strengthen the friendship between the two countries, and he hopes to explore new areas of cooperation with CUZ and carry out deeper cooperation.

Before the meeting, Chancellor Andrews and his delegation visited CUZ history museum and the 4K comprehensive e-sports laboratory. Chancellor Andrews and his delegation also attended the graduation ceremony for the graduating students of the Bolton Project from 2018 to 2022.
