Vietnam’s FPT Corporation Delegation Visits CUZ

On the afternoon of March 26, a delegation led by Nguyen Thi Ngoc, Director of the Digital Education Center of FPT Corporation, Vietnam, visited the Communication University of Zhejiang (CUZ). CUZ Vice President Yao Zheng met with the guests. Representatives from the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, the School of Media Engineering, the School of Literature, and the School of International Education attended the meeting. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on promoting China–Vietnam cultural exchange and strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions. Cheng Zhiduo, Assistant Vice President of Shinyway Education Technology Co., Ltd., accompanied the delegation.

Vice President Yao Zheng extended a warm welcome and introduced the university’s academic strengths and achievements in international cooperation. He also reviewed recent progress in partnerships with Vietnamese institutions over the past two years. Emphasizing the close geographical and cultural ties between China and Vietnam, he expressed the university’s readiness to welcome more Vietnamese students and scholars. He also proposed deeper cooperation in areas such as Chinese language education, artificial intelligence, and media engineering, with a shared vision of building a “Silk Road Institute” to advance education and research in both countries.

Nguyen Thi Ngoc expressed sincere appreciation for the warm reception and introduced FPT’s education system. After gaining a deeper understanding of the university’s development, she noted that it was an honor to explore cooperation and expressed a strong willingness to deepen collaboration and jointly promote the development of media education in both countries. Nguyen Binh Minh, Head of Global Business Development at FPT, also highlighted hopes to use this visit as a starting point for closer ties and expanded cooperation.

Cheng Zhiduo stated that Shinyway Education Technology Co., Ltd. would leverage its strengths in international education services and resource integration to support efficient and impactful collaboration between the two sides.

During the meeting, both parties conducted extensive and substantive exchanges on topics including international Chinese language education, the establishment of a Silk Road Institute, international student mobility, faculty and student exchanges, and joint education programs, reaching multiple consensus points.

During the visit, the delegation also toured the university’s 4K E-sports Comprehensive Laboratory, the campus history museum, and the international student residence, gaining deeper insights into the university’s development and achievements, and speaking highly of its educational strengths.
