On the morning of May 21st, CUZ welcomed Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, Director-General of the Emirates News Agency (WAM), and his delegation. The European News Exchange (ENEX), as a collaborative unit, jointly attended the welcome meeting. The Secretary of CUZ Party Committee, Yang Liping, met with Rayssi and his delegation. Sun Baosheng, a member of the CUZ Party Committee, Head of CUZ Publicity Department and of United Front Work Department, attended the meeting. Heads of CUZ International Office, the School of Television Arts, the School of Journalism and Communication, the School of Broadcasting and Hosting Arts, and the All Media Experimental Innovation Center also attended the meeting.
Welcoming the arrival of Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi and his delegation, Yang Liping briefly introduced CUZ. During the visit of the Emirates News Agency, CUZ looks forward to establishing connections with Emirates' media, universities and other institutions, and conducting substantive exchanges and cooperation in media talent cultivation, overseas internship practice base construction, media subject teaching and research, and joint creation.
Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi highly praised the CUZl's educational environment and training achievements. He stated that China and the United Arab Emirates have close ties and look forward to making more partners in the media industry. At the same time, he warmly invited CUZ teachers and students to the United Arab Emirates to participate in the second Global Media Conference. Through participating in academic exchanges, work exhibitions, workshops, and other activities, he has established cooperation platforms with the media and universities of the United Arab Emirates, and carried out exchanges and cooperation with media institutions around the world.
