On July 18, the signing and opening ceremony of the practice base for Taiwan students of CUZ was held in Wuzhen, Tongxiang. Zhang Liang, Vice President of CUZ, Zhu Lianghua, Deputy Director of Jiaxing Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office, Mu Haiying, member of the Standing Committee of Tongxiang municipal Party committee, Xu Jiandong, Deputy Director of the Municipal People's Congress, Xu Gang, Vice Mayor of Tongxiang, Shang Guoming, Vice Chairman of the Municipal People's Political Consultative Conference, and the principals of Jiaxing City, Tongxiang municipal Taiwan Affairs Office and our Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office attended the ceremony. Zhang Liang said in his speech that while reading good books, college students in the new era should also walk out of the ivory tower and into the society, and strengthen their ideals, temper their will and increase their talents in the social class of the new era. For a long time, CUZ has cooperated with Jiaxing City Taiwan Affairs Office, Tongxiang City Taiwan Affairs Office and other units to carry out rich and colorful cross-strait exchange activities. The signing of the cooperation agreement between the University and the Taiwan Affairs Office of Tongxiang City and the establishment of the practice base for Taiwan students of the university will further help Taiwan students of the university to give play to their media expertise and skills, and to explore and disseminate Chinese excellent culture. The two sides can jointly organize and implement cooperation projects, make full use of the rich local resources of Tongxiang City, organize and carry out various internships, practices and visits, and help Taiwan students pursue, build and realize their dreams in Zhejiang and the mainland with high-quality linkage. The University and Tongxiang City will consolidate cooperation and advance hand in hand, jointly write a new chapter of school local cooperation, make greater contributions to the province's efforts to write a magnificent chapter of "two pioneers", and welcome the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with practical actions.

    Guo Guangchu, Director of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office of the University, and Xu Yongqiang, Director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Tongxiang City, signed an agreement to jointly build the "Practice Base for Taiwan students of Communication University of Zhejiang". The leaders on the site came to the stage to witness the signing.

    After the signing ceremony, the participating leaders visited the Cross-strait Industrial Expo. Zhang Liang and his colleagues also attended the "cross strait Youth Village revitalization forum and Zhejiang Taiwan Week Jiaxing special event" and "focusing on the digital economy accelerating intelligent upgrading cross strait Enterprise Integration Development Summit Forum".
